After high school graduation, I traveled with East Union Presbyterian Church to install a solar-powered water purification system in Haiti. This was really a game changer for me as an aspiring engineer and as a person.

The trip was proceeded by training in Little Rock, AR. This was the first time I ever flew alone, and I was super nervous that I was going to be late to prom.
